Robin Lynn Pratt

Originally from California, Ms. Pratt received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego in 1985, and her M.B.A. from National University in Vista, California in 1988. 

Pratt worked for ten years in the customer service industry for corp-orations including Hughes Aircraft and Delta Airlines.  In 1995, she left the corporate world to spend more time with her husband and their two young children, and began freelance writing from home.  

She has since published articles and essays on topics including parenting, health, music, alumni perspectives, and women’s issues;  spent three years as a website writer for the Medical Director of Primary Children’s Medical Center on a project providing information for physicians and families of special needs children.  Her work has been published in regional and national magazines, on public radio, and online.   

She served for two years as a Chapter President of the League of Utah Writers; and two years on the board of directors for Opus Chorus & Orchestra (aka Imagine! Foundation).  Robin is currently the Admin-istrative Director of the Utah Cultural Alliance, a cultural education and advocacy nonprofit based in Salt Lake City. 

She currently lives and writes in Salt Lake City with her husband and their two sons.
