Mill Creek Press solicits unpublished manuscripts in the following genres: non-fiction biographical adventure, non-fiction historical works, non-fiction military and naval manuscripts, historical novels, and children's books. We will consider other subjects, but for the most part, we are historians at heart!

To start the manuscript submission process, please submit a one to three page synopsis of your work. Allow two to three weeks for us to respond. If we like your synopsis, we then will accept a double-spaced, Courier 12 point manuscript for reading. Please enclose a SASE if you want the manuscript returned. If your manuscript needs a copy edit, we will advise you, and you can go to any of the numerous online services for copy editing. If we accept your manuscript, we will then tell you our terms of agreement, and how we plan to publish and market your book.

Keep in mind that we are a small publisher, but we sell through such companies as Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble and Baker & Taylor. We are small enough that we work on first name basis, and consider you to be a member of our inner-most group of friends. Our purpose is not to make money, but get you published. And if we can't get you published, or you need someone bigger than us, we'll tell you right up front. We enjoy the publishing industry, and all the opportunity it has to offer. We hope your publishing experience is just as rewarding!
