Arthur O. Naujoks Jr.
Arthur O. Naujoks, Jr. was born in Tilsit, East Prussia on
December 19, 1922. He served in the German Army on the Eastern
Front from 1941 to 1945, and was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd Class.
After the war he worked for a brief time for RIAS, the voice of Radio
Free Europe, following which time he and his wife Traudy emigrated to
the United States. He became a U.S. citizen and worked for Chevron Oil
Company. He died in Salt Lake City on October 25, 2002.
